Abstract
For the framework T and X RHS joints the favourable estimations of their failure load were obtained using the yield line method. However in the main, they were investigated and tested for the pure axial or moment load applied to the branch. These results are the base to study the more complex problem, i.e. the safe load which could be transfered from the branch to column, when the interaction of the mentioned loads occur. Specially, the failure of the chord (column) face or webs is insufficient recognized, up to now. It is the aim of this paper.
