Abstract
In this work an effort is made to review various methods by using vertical milling machine to reach special welding technology of friction stir welding (FSW) which is a solid-state fusion process. As this method of joining is achieve success daily at the level of investigate but it’s excess to workshops having lesser capital is limited because of costlier machines. Experiment work carried out on 6351 aluminium alloy on a vertical axis CNC milling machine for each testing. Increase in the feed speed the material was observed to have increased surface roughness. Increased the tensile strengths with increases in hardness.
