Abstract

Structural alloys obtained by additive electric arc growth are tested. Impact bending tests followed by fractographic studies showed that the fracture mechanism of 09Г2С steel completely changes from ductile to brittle at temperatures below –60 °C, for 07Х25Н13 steel and АМг5 alloy, the fracture mechanism does not change up to temperatures of –150 °C. To assess the nature of the destruction of the materials, it is proposed to use fractal analysis and an artificial neural network.
