Abstract

The cold resistance and mechanical properties of the АМг5 aluminum alloy obtained by additive electric arc growth are considered. It is established that the mechanical properties of the alloy obtained by 3D printing by electric arc welding are worse than those obtained by rolling. Quantum-mechanical calculations have shown that the optimal improvement of the mechanical properties of aluminum alloys provides alloying with nanoparticles. Alloying with zirconium and titanium, as well as titanium-based intermetallic compounds, is especially effective.
