Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the validity of an instrument that evaluates a digital learning environment, which allows get the student´s perception of the operation and implementation of the components of that environment. The information was collected from 85 students that belong to the University of San Luis Potosí in Mexico. The design of the investigation was a quantitative approach in transactional descriptive cut. The analyzes that were carried out were validation by expert judgment and students, validation by internal consistency and validation of referencie with diferent populations. The results showed that the instrument is valid provides enough information to measure the dimensions that a digital learning environment must contain and determine the quality of the environment, in addition to this, it was possible to determine that the instrument is clear and understandable for students who use it. The conclusions are that 1) the instrument provides sufficient information to determine the quality of the environment which allows continuous improvement of the educational goals, and 2) It is clear an understandable instrument for the students who respond it.
