Abstract

Today we see countless repercussions in the struggles for the recognition of certain groups (ethnic and racial), in (re) affirming that culture is not a product. And we assume that the school and the teachers have an important role in the face of learning beyond the curricular issues that are mandatory, we also realize the importance of the historical and cultural concepts of our society for the children of today, to be critical people tomorrow and that they can understand that culture is not an object, fantasy or accessory. Thus, we realize that today's school has little influence on the dissemination of comprehensive concepts and that these barriers need to be analyzed and removed through cultural projects that demystify historical periods and that it is possible to conceptualize them clearly and without unreal signs. In the absence of interlocution between school practices and the needs of today's society, unfortunately multiculturalism and differences, which need to be respected, tend to be contained within the scope of exclusion and maintenance of the status quo.
