Abstract

Integrated chassis system has become one of the future development trends of chassis technology in electric vehicles. This paper present a four-wheel drive vehicle system which integrated power system and steering system to suspension system. The structure of the lower control arm in suspension system is specially designed to spare larger space for steering system. Therefore, the integrated system can fulfill the basic functions and get an advantage on driving and riding comfort. Besides the steering system can get larger space for designer. Therefore, larger steer angle and less turning radius can be realized, which will optimize the cornering maneuvers of the vehicle.
