Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of TIGO capsules combined with oxaliplatin on patients with advanced gastric cancer undergoing radical operation. Methods From June 2016 to October 2017, 92 patients diagnosed with advanced gastric cancer admitted to the Eighth People's Hospital of Qingdao were selected and divided into observation group and control group by random number table, with 46 cases in each group. The control group was given oxaliplatin chemotherapy, followed by laparoscopic radical gastrectomy. The observation group was given TIGO capsules combined with oxaliplatin chemotherapy, followed by laparoscopic radical gastrectomy. The clinical efficacy, immune function and adverse reactions were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group after treatment was 67.39%, which was significantly higher than 41.30% of the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(χ2=11.093, P<0.05). After treatment, the proportions of CD4+ , CD8+ and CD4+ /CD8+ in the observation group were(45.3±7.6)%, (52.1±9.2)%, (0.95±0.18), respectively, which were significantly higher than those in the control group[(36.4±6.2)%, (45.8±8.3)%, (0.76±0.15)], there were statistically significant differences between the two groups(t=5.164, 4.935, 3.571, all P<0.05). The incidence rates of adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal tract reaction, decrease of platelets and white blood cells in the observation group were 13.04%, 8.70%, 8.70%, respectively, which were significantly lower than those of the control group(34.78%, 26.09%, 30.43%), the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(χ2=7.007, 6.905, 7.115, all P<0.05). Conclusion For patients with advanced gastric cancer, preoperative combination of TIGO capsules and oxaliplatin chemotherapy can not only improve the clinical efficacy of radical operation of gastric cancer and the immune function after chemotherapy, but also can reduce postoperative disease recurrence rate and mortality, it is worth to be promoted in clinical.
