Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical effect of integrated emergency nursing on the first-aid of patients with stroke. Methods We implemented the integrated emergency nursing since January 2013, the clinical data of patients were collected before and after the implementation. Fourty patients with routine nursing from January 2012 to December 2012 were divided into control group, fourty patients with integrated emergency nursing from January 2013 to December 2013 were divided into observation group. Quality of nursing and accident rate in transfer were compared between two groups. Results The pre-hospital emergency response time was (11.2±2.7)min and treatment time of emergency department was (17.2±8.1)min in observation group, shorter than those of control group (14.1±4.5), (22.8±12.5)min, the differences were statistical significance (t=3.495, 2.378, respectively; P<0.05). The survival rate and the accident rate of transfer declined of observation group were 82.5% and 7.5%, higher than control group (χ2=4.013, 4.501, respectively; P<0.05). Conclusions The integrated emergency nursing significantly shortens the first-aid time of patients with stroke, and promotes the effect of treatment.
