Application effects of NNN-linked nursing model on stroke in-patients with hemiplegia

Abstract

Objective To investigate the application effects of NNN-link nursing model in stroke in-patients with hemiplegia. Methods The convenience sampling method was used to select 300 stroke in-patients with hemiplegia admitted to the Third People's Hospital of Hubei Province, Jianghan University from February 2016 to December 2018. The patients were divided into observation group and control group according to the time of admission, with 150 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were given routine nursing care in the Department of Neurology, and the observation group adopted the NNN-linked nursing model based on the control group. The scores of the Nursing Outcome Scale, the Treatment Compliance Questionnaire for Stroke Patients, and the World Health Organization Quality of Life-BREF (WHOQOL-BREF) were compared between the two groups. Results After the intervention, the differences in the Nursing Outcome Scale scores of the patients in the observation group in the dimensions of fall prevention, activity, aspiration prevention, and daily activity (self-care) were higher than those in the control group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05) . After the intervention, the Treatment Compliance Questionnaire scores in the observation group on the functional training, lifestyle changes, medication, and diet were higher than those in the control group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05) . After the intervention, the difference in WHOQO-BREF scores between the observation group and the control group was statistically significant (P<0.05) . Conclusions NNN-linked language can improve the nursing outcomes and quality of life of stroke patients with hemiplegia, and improve patients compliance.
