Abstract

Objective To explore the effects of stroke-specialized nurses' rescue model on patients with acute ischemic stroke. Methods Totally 190 patients with acute ischemic stroke admitted in Zhengzhou Central Hospital Affiliated to Zhengzhou University from January 2018 to May 2019 were selected using convenient sampling. Totally 80 patients with acute ischemic stroke who underwent routine thrombolysis therapy were divided into the control group, while 110 patients receiving stroke-specialized nurses' rescue model were divided into the observation group. The thrombolysis time, National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score were compared between the two groups of patients. Results The door to physician (DTP) , door to stroke team (DTT) , door to imaging (DTI) , door to laboratory (DTL) , door to needle time (DNT) of the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05) . At 1 and 2 weeks after thrombolysis, the NIHSS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05) . Conclusions The implementation of a stroke-specialized nurses' rescue model is conducive to ameliorating hospital delays in patients with acute ischemic stroke, shortening the DNT, and improving the prognosis of patients.
