Effect of Buyi tiaozhong sanjie decoction on nutritional status of lung cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy

Objective To investigate the nutritional status of patients with lung cancer chemotherapy and the effect of Buyi tiaozhong sanjie decoction on the nutritional status of patients with lung cancer chemotherapy. Methods A retrospective study was performed on 60 cases of patients with lung cancer who undergoing chemotherapy form July 2016 to June 2017.According to the sequence of admission, patients were divided into the nutritional treatment group and the combined treatment group, with 30 cases in each group.Patients in the combined treatment group were treated with Buyi tiaozhong sanjie decoction and basic nutrition support therapy, the others in the nutritional treatment group were singly given basic nutrition support therapy.TP regimen was used in all chemotherapy regimens.Two groups of patients before chemotherapy were assessed nutritional risk by NRS-2002 scale.During chemotherapy, two groups of patients were given nutrition support and diet and other related guidance, the treatment group of patients on the basis of the application of Buyi tiaoji sanjie decoction for treatment; to evaluate the occurrence of nutritional risk in two groups of patients and compare the changes of nutritional indicators before and after treatment, and T cell subsets were detected. Results The incidence of clinical nutritional risk in lung cancer chemotherapy was 61.7%.After chemotherapy, in the nutritional treatment group, there was no significant improvement in all body mass indexes except blood albumin(ALB)(P 0.05); the body mass index(BMI), hemoglobin(Hgb), albumin(ALB)and prealbumin(PA)were significantly improved in the combined treatment group(P 0.05). Conclusion Patients with lung cancer chemotherapy have a higher risk of clinical nutrition; the treatment of Buyi tiaozhong sanjie decoction can effectively improve the clinical nutrition of patients with lung cancer chemotherapy, help to enhance the patients′ chemotherapy tolerance, thus improve the clinical curative effect.
