Abstract
The author draws the attention of the business community to the fact that the Concept of National Security has been updated in the Republic of Belarus. The article systematizes the main innovations of the Concept of National Security of the Republic of Belarus, a new interpretation of the term “national security”, “national interests”. The practical significance of the introduced gradation of threats, challenges, and dangers is analyzed. The place and role of economic security in the composition of all other types of it is investigated. The thesis on the priority of economic security and its decisive influence on the development of all spheres of state activity is confirmed. The necessity of considering economic security as a driver of the development of the Belarusian state in the future is substantiated.
