Abstract

The optical properties of (pva: zno) nanocomposites were studied and (pva: zno) nanocomposites were prepared using casting method with different concentrations of zinc oxide nanoparticles.By recording the transmittance and absorbance spectrum with a spectrophotometer (UV–VIS) in the range of wavelengths (200–800 nm), With increasing concentrations of zinc oxide nanoparticles, the absorbance, absorption coefficient, extinction coefficient, refractive index, real and imaginary dielectric constants of (pva: zno) nanocomposites increased. “While the transmittance and energy band gap decreases with increasing the concentration” of zinc oxide nanoparticles.
