Abstract

The article comments on the morphemic and word-formation structure of words with the roots of quantitative semantics on the material of the Dictionary of Vologda Dialects. Models of nominal, verbal and adverbial stems are characterized. The ways and means of forming words with quantitative roots are described, as well as the spectrum of word-forming meanings of derivative dialect words. Against the background of the general Russian patterns of their morphemic and word-formation structure, dialectal differences are revealed regarding the distribution of common Russian roots and affixes, as well as a wider range of their formal and semantic variation. Based on the study of the lexical composition of the nests of qualitative semantics and the structural organization of the dialect words included in them, conclusions are drawn about the specifics of the dialect language picture of the world: its anthropocentricity, pragmatism, traditionality and expressiveness.
