Abstract
The purpose of this article is to present the general aspects of one of the most important geomorphological processes highlighted in the Lower Bic Plain. The given process affects 1440.33 ha of the total area of the investigated territory. The typology and the spatial distribution of this process are just a few of the aspects presented in the given article and are generated by a geomorphological inventory of the territories affected by this process. The mapping and inventory of the deep erosion process are the basic elements in the analysis of the temporal patterns of the affected lands and of the negative consequences of this process on the study area.
