Abstract
We examine the dangerous meteorological phenomena in southeastern Kazakhstan. Such phenomena have an adverse influence upon the economic activities and human health, interrupt continuous performance of the economic sectors and often take a heavy toll of human lives. The increase in their incidence may be attributed to current climate change.
