Abstract

The state policy of modern Russia clearly formulated in the framework of «Strategy of innovative development of the Russian Federation until 2020», one of the priorities determines the development of human resources in science, education, technologies and innovations. Pursuant to the requirements of modern business, the system of higher professional education aimed at training of competitive graduates, the distinguishing quality of which is not only a high level of knowledge and skills, but also the development/implementation of innovations in professional activity. In work the analysis of modern condition of a problem of formation of innovative competence, summed up the experience of researchers on the issues of the competence approach the formation of professional and General cultural competences. Presents the dependence of the level of preparation of bachelors and the formation of different kinds of innovation. The basic components of innovation. Also describes the basic qualities of innovative thinking of the bachelor-engineer, given the author’s definition of innovation competencies.
