Cultural dictionaries in Hungary (from the history of Hungarian cultural dictionaries)

Abstract

The aim of the article is to do an overwiev of dictionaries of cultural literacy, which appeared in Corvina Publishing House in Hungary during the last 15 years: English-Hungarian Cultural Dictionary and American-Hungarian Cultural Dictionary edited by István Bart; Japanese Cultural Lexicon, editor László D. Horváth; German-Hungarian Cultural Dictionary edited by Györy Miklós; French-Hungarian Cultural Dictionary, editor Péter Ádám; Italian-Hungarian Cultural Dictionary by László Sztánó, and Russian Cultural Dictionary prerared by András Soproni.
