Abstract

Annotation. Control and analysis of competitive activity is an integral part of the system of training athletes in any sport. The purpose of the study: to develop a methodological approach to control and analysis of competitive activities of the team in field hockey. Research methods: analysis of scientific and methodical literature, pedagogical observation, analysis of video materials, methods of mathematical statistics. The research was conducted on the basis of observation of the competitive activities of the teams of the top league of the Ukrainian field hockey championship. Research results. The main components of the team's competitive activity in field hockey are identified: high, medium, low pressure; positional attacks of the first, second and third tempo; short, medium, long fast attacks. An integrated assessment of the competitive activity of the hockey team, consisting of ten coefficients, has been developed. In the selection phase of the ball - the coefficients of manifestation of high, medium, low pressure; the efficiency of the selection of the ball, the efficiency of the interception of the ball. In the possession phase of the ball - the coefficient of effectiveness of penetrating attacks; the coefficient of effectiveness of successful penetrating attacks; coefficient of goal situations, coefficient of creativity; coefficient of combination. Conclusions. The developed methodical approach to control of competitive activity of a team in field hockey allows to increase efficiency of managerial influences in the course of preparation of sportsmen in this kind of sport.
