Abstract

AbstractRelevance of the research topic. In the processof competitive activity, athletes show threelevels of motor fitness - physical, functionaland technical. Each of these three levels tosome extent affects the outcome of competitiveactivities and determines its structure. It isassumed that the analysis of indicators offitness of field hockey athletes in thecompetitive period will increase theeffectiveness of managerial influences in theirtraining. The purpose of the study is todetermine and establish the interdependence ofindicators of physical, functional and technicalfitness of highly qualified field hockey playersin the competitive period of the macrocycle.Material and methods. The study involvedhighly qualified athletes (n = 20), players ofthe national team of Ukraine in field hockey.Sports qualification - masters of sports ofUkraine. The study was conducted in thecompetitive period of the macrocycle.Research methods: theoretical analysis andgeneralization of literature sources;pedagogical observation; pedagogical testing;methods of mathematical statistics. Researchresults. Indicators of physical, functional andtechnical readiness of highly qualified fieldhockey players are determined. Theseindicators characterize the level ofsportsmanship of hockey players in thecompetitive period, based on which a graphicalmodel of training of field hockey players wasdeveloped. Key conclusions. A correlation hasbeen established between the indicators ofspeed and speed-strength qualities, speedqualities and speed endurance, speed andgeneral endurance with the functional trainingof highly qualified field hockey players.
