Abstract
Objective To inquiry the clinical value of the hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) with electroacupuncture in treating sudden deafness. Methods 126 sudden deafness patients with 141 ears were divided into treating set and matched set random, the treating set treated with HBO and electroacupuncture comprehensive,the matched set with applied HBO only. Results Treat set 63 cases, recovery 11 (17. 5%) , total efficiency 95.2% ;Matched set 63 cases, recovery 8(12.7%) ,total efficiency 79.4%. The total efficiency of two sets has shown the relatively difference (P＜0.05). Conclusion HBO with electroacupuncture comprehensive treatment in sudden deafness has the relatively effect, and has important clinical application value.
