Clinical effect of Zhengan Xifeng decoction in the treatment of Parkinson's disease

Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical effect of Zhengan Xifeng decoction in the treatment of Parkinson's disease. Methods From January 2013 to January 2017, 100 patients with Parkinson's disease in the People's Hospital of Dongping County were included in the study and they were randomly divided into two groups according to the digital table, with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Madopar, the observation group was treated with Madopar combined with Zhengan Xifeng decoction.After 12 weeks of treatment, the clinical efficacy, incidence of adverse reactions, unified Parkinson's disease score, ADL score, cognitive function index of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 92%(46/50), which was significantly higher than 74%(37/50) of the control group (χ2=5.741, P 0.05). After treatment, the unified Parkinson's disease score, ADL score, Montreal cognitive function score, mini mental state score in the observation group were (49.93±10.86)points, (85.71±14.53)points, (25.93±2.76)points, (23.81±4.12)points, respectively, which in the control group were (60.56±11.49)points, (71.46±14.02)points, (22.56±2.65)points, (19.42±4.05)points, respectively, there were statistically significant differences between the two groups(t=4.754, 4.990, 6.228, 5.373.all P<0.05). Conclusion Zhengan Xifeng decoction in the treatment of Parkinson's disease can effectively improve the patients' cognitive function, daily life ability, alleviate the symptoms of Parkinson's disease.
