Abstract
Objective To study the clinical features and the efficacy of transurethral electrovaporization for the treatment of cystitis glandularis.Methods 47 cases were treated with transurethral electrovaporization and bladder instillation of medicine.Results Among 46 cases followed up for 6 to 60 months,the mean time was 22 months,39 cases were cured,4 cases imp roved,and 3 cases recurred 10～19 months after treatment.Conclusion Transurethral electrovaporization combined with bladder instillation of medicine is effective in treatment of cystitis glandularis,Cystitis glandularis correlated with carcinoma of bladder,So these patients must abide by a long term follow-up,reexamination and subsequent treatment.
