Abstract
Abstract Treatments were applied to two tree plots, replicated 5 times in randomized complete blocks. Sprays were applied dilute full coverage with a handgun and truck-mounted hydraulic sprayer at 400 psi (at the pump). Treatments were applied Apr 29, Test 1; and May 6, Test 2. Water pH tested 6.7 and 6.2 for the two test dates. Leaf samples (20/replicate) were taken from each treatment periodically before and after spraying. Living citrus rust mites seen in 4 10X binocular microscope fields/leaf, 284 cm /rep (2 fields upper and 2 fields lower leaf surface), were counted. Vendex was used as a standard acaricide in Test 1 and oil 435-66 was used as a standard in Test 2.
