Abstract

Nut trees are economically important crops because they are consumed as rich food sources and confectionary. Compared with other fruit crops, it appears that the number of viruses affecting nut trees is less than that of other fruit crops. However, giving relatively higher economic values of these crops compared with others, even a limited number of viral diseases on the nut crops can cause significant losses. So, this chapter deals with viral diseases in nut trees and their effects on yield losses and marketability.
