Abstract

The strong heterogeneity and complicated flowing mechanism in volcanic gas reservoirs have led to low single-well production, low production capacity, and low accuracy of development index prediction in gas reservoir development. Under the guidance of basic theories of volcanic architecture, reservoir model, flowing mechanism and development law, effective reservoir prediction and well location optimization technology, horizontal well, and fracturing reconstruction technology to improve single-well production, capacity evaluation and production allocation technology, gas reservoir dynamic description technology, gas reservoir numerical simulation technology, gas reservoir development model, and development technology policy optimization technology are all developed in this chapter, laying solid foundation for the realization of large-scale efficient development of volcanic gas reservoirs.
