Abstract
This chapter includes information on current and potential surface and cellular targets of antifungal drugs with respect to candidiasis. Different ABC and MFS transporter proteins along with their structural and functional information are included in the study. Also a note on key factors responsible for mediating azole resistance in C. albicans is given. This compilation deals with significant facts about MDR and quinidine drug resistance that could lead to predicting.
