Abstract
This chapter is devoted to understand the nonlinearity of synthetic aperture radar imagine mechanism for ocean wave spectra. In a nonlinear relationship, therefore, the simulation of wave spectra does not change in direct proportion to a change in any of the SAR transmitted and backscattered pulses. Radar stands for RAdio Detection And Ranging; ranging is the distance from the radar where the microwave photons travel across space and time and interact with the objects. In this regard, space-time is the keystone of relativity theory. The main question that can be raised is whether SAR reveals the information of ocean surface wave parameters can be elucidated by relativity theories. This chapter is devoted to finding an accurate correspondence between ocean wave parameters that are imaged in SAR data and relativity theory.
