Abstract
This chapter focuses on the existence of positive solutions for nonlinear elliptic problems with general gradient dependence in three distinct cases according to the driven differential operator: p-Laplacian, (p,q)-Laplacian, and nonhomogeneous operator. Since in our situation of general dependence on the gradient of the solutions variational methods are not applicable, the approach relies on other methods: fixed point theorems, subsolution–supersolutions, approximation processes.
