Abstract

With the diversification of customer needs, companies are paying more attention to custom designs for production lines. The digital twin provides an innovative way for the implementation of custom designs for production lines. By establishing a virtual production line corresponding to the physical production line, a digital twin aims at realizing virtual-real synchronization and iterative optimization and finally improving overall design efficiency. Section 3.1 analyzes the research progress of digital twin-driven production line custom design. Section 3.2 describes the corresponding system framework in detail, including connotation, basic components, key technologies, and theories. Section 3.3 focuses on the development methods. Through two project examples, Section 3.4 illustrates the effectiveness of the aforementioned theories and practices. Section 3.5 summarizes this chapter.
