Abstract

This chapter aims to recall the bibliographic data necessary to position the context of our chapter. We will first describe the nucleic and amino acids including their importance, in particular the corrosion of various steel and corrosive media. We will then introduce different adsorption modes by different types of amino acids on various metals. We will also discuss various techniques used to check corrosion inhibition performance. The main goal of this chapter is to study different amino and nucleic acids as green corrosion inhibitors.
