Abstract

Cancer has been one of the most complex diseases over the decade with standard methods of therapy such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and surgery. However, there are several limitations to such treatments. The cancer patients become resistant to the current conventional cancer therapies and treatment regimens which lead to progression instead of regulation. The ability of chemotherapeutic agents to reach the tumor tissue is restricted due to its passage through the cellular membrane by passive transport. Therefore new therapies need to be improved using microbes as adjuvant with current immunotherapy. This will prove to be a promising approach to combat disease progression leading to better regulation.
