Abstract
In the preceding chapter, we have discussed the barriers to therapeutics delivery and organelle transfer at the cellular level. Aging, however, is a systemic degenerative process. The availability of technologies for effective systemic delivery is a prerequisite for the successful development of biogerontological interventions. In this chapter, we will present the importance of systemic delivery to interventive biogerontology, and will also highlight the impediments to intervention administration at the organismal level.
