Abstract
This chapter focuses on recent advancements in electrochemical micromachining (EMM) for micro and nanofabrication. Various emerging variants of EMM such as wire EMM, solid-state EMM, electrochemical wet stamping, and electrochemical patterning by EnFACE technology are discussed. Many interesting factors of surface structuring on aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, etc. by EMM have been presented considering not only simple flat surfaces but also curved complex surfaces. EMM can also be successfully utilized in the fabrication of three-dimensional nanostructures.
