Abstract

Studies now link metabolic acidosis as an underlying cause in such diverse conditions as insulin resistance, syndrome X, cardiometabolic risk, coronary artery disease, osteoporosis, and cancer. An alkaline contributing, whole foods diet is provided in tandem with management of glycemic load and immunocompatible food choices. Delayed food and chemical allergies can be identified through functional lymphocyte response assays. Antigen levels can be reduced through substitution for reactive foods and environmental stimulants, a nutrient-rich diet, and mental and physical exercises as appropriate to each case. This approach both reduces metabolic stress from dietary habits and supports innate regulatory systems in recovery.
