Abstract
Objective To evaluate the central venous catheter closed thoracic drainage and perfusion chemotherapy in the treatment of malignant pleural effusion analysis of clinical efficacy. Methods The hospital in January 2008 to Octorer 2009 year admitted 142 cases of patients with malignant pleural effusion with a chest built into the central venous catheter drainage and infusion therapy of clinical efficacy. Results The cases of 42 cases of complete remission, partial remission 64 cases, 16 cases of minor response, stable in 20 cases, progress in 0 cases, the total effective rate 80%. Conclusion The central venous catheter closed thoracic drainage of malignant pleural effusion infusion chemotherapy achieved good results, can effectively reduce the clinical symptoms ,to improve the compression atelectasis, restrictive ventilatory defect, and the reduction of blood volume Rhodobryum roseum, obviously to improve the quality of life in patients with advanced cancer.
