Abstract
O objetivo geral deste trabalho está posto na recensão crítica da proposta de abordagem teórica do capital sexual de Eva Illouz e Dana Kaplan (2021). Para tal intento, procurei apresentar este modelo de interpretação tanto em sua dimensão formal/descritiva quanto em sua perspectiva histórico-desenvolvimental. Para além da pura análise dos componentes teóricos, apresentei alguns problemas sociais que poderiam ser observados sociologicamente à luz deste enquadramento conceitual.
