Abstract

A business process is a collection of related activities that produce a specific output for a particular customer. The effective designing of business processes is an important issue for the corporations. The need itself, to improve the existing business process in an organization, results in Business Process Reengineering. BPR is about taking a tough look at why, what, when, how and where the organisation does the things; the way it does. In this paper the researcher has described the concept and need of reengineering. The researcher further examined the BPR scenario in USA, Europe and India. The concluding part of this paper focuses on Business Model Reengineering which is commonly known as Reverse Innovation.
