Abstract
The rapid growth of technology and increasing demand for computing services have created a complex and challenging environment for information and technology (IT) professionals. The complexity of modern computer systems has made it difficult for IT specialists to manage and maintain these systems effectively. As a result, there is a need for a new approach that can help IT professionals manage their complex systems better. Autonomic computing is a new approach that aims to develop and manage complex computer systems that can manage itself, autonomously. Autonomic computing is an advanced approach to computing that allows computer systems to learn, adapt, and manage itself without human intervention. It is based on the principles of self-management, self-optimization, self-configuration, self-protection and self-healing. With autonomic computing, computer systems can detect problems and take corrective actions automatically without requiring human intervention. This technology offers many advantages for organizations, including reduced downtime, improved system performance, increased reliability and better resource utilization. The aim of this research is to discuss the concept of autonomic computing, its architectural components, benefits, and limitations.
