Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of family empowerment nursing on self-management of elderly patients with chronic heart failure. Methods A total of 160 hospitalized patients in the department of cardiovascular medicine of our hospital were selected and randomly divided into experimental group and control group, with 80 patients in each group.They were respectively given routine nursing and family empowerment nursing.After 4 weeks of nursing intervention, questionnaire survey was used to assess the effect of intervention. Results Compared with the control group, the self-efficacy and quality of life of the experimental group after intervention were significantly higher than those of the control group. Conclusion Family energy nursing can significantly improve the ability and confidence of self-management in elderly patients with chronic heart failure, improve emotional intelligence, improve the mental health, emotional function and social function of patients.It is worthy to be popularized and applied in clinic.
