Abstract

Objective To explore the effects of multi dimensional collaborative nursing on the negative emotion and the quality of life in elderly patients with coronary heart disease combined with congestive heart failure. Methods From February 2015 to February 2017, a total of 129 cases of elderly patients with coronary heart disease combined with congestive heart failure from the Cardiology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University were selected and divided into experimental group (n=64) and control group (n=65) by random number table method. The patients in the control group were treated with routine cardiological treatment and nursing. On the basis of routine treatment, the patients in the experimental group were given multi dimensional collaborative nursing from admission to the last day before discharge. Patients' anxiety, depression and the quality of life were compared before and after the intervention between the two groups by Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) , Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) and the Core Quality of Life Scale. Results The scores of SAS and SDS of two groups on discharge were significantly lower than those on admission, and the scores of experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group, of which all the differences were statistically significant (t=7.136, 6.875; P<0.01) . The quality of life of the two groups increased significantly compared with that on admission, and the improvement degree of the experimental group was better than that of the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.01) . Conclusions Multi dimensional collaborative nursing can significantly reduce and alleviate the negative emotions in elderly patients with coronary heart disease combined with congestive heart failure, with a significant improvement in the quality of life. It provides a feasible way of thinking for clinical nursing work. Key words: Aged; Heart failure; Quality of life; Coronary disease; Multi dimensional collaborative nursing; Negative emotions
