Abstract

In this research, the functional analysis of the elements that make up the Denso injection system of an Isuzu NPR vehicle with a 4HK1 engine is carried out. The analysis of the theoretical framework and the state of the art allow the selection of an experimental methodology for data recording, an oscilloscope is used to measure the voltage and current consumed by the elements of the injection system, as well as a diagnostic equipment for the evaluation. of the parameters that are recorded in the ECM. Each of the oscillograms is explained in detail, therefore, understanding the system allows improving the diagnostic techniques for the repair of the different elements of the injection system. Finally, the particulars regarding the operation of the system are detailed in tables, with emphasis on the main elements that influence the dosage, advance and duration of fuel injection as provided by Denso in the manufacturer's manual.
