Abstract

The article presents the results of deep excavation analysis performed using the finite element method as well as impact of diaphragm walls construction on the surrounding objects. First part of the article concerns on theoretical background, methodology and data used in program. The second part is focused on the design model, results of analysis and impact of the deep excavation on surrounding buildings. The design task was performed in Midas GTS NX software, which is modeling platform used to design ground conditions as well as structures cooperating with the soil. Presented content is part of Author’s master thesis.
