Abstract
This research analyzes the impact of the Baitul Maal Foundation PLN zakat funds on a dairy goat breeding program in Pakpak Bharat Regency. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, data was gathered through observation, interviews, surveys, and documentation. The findings indicate that the zakat fund distribution positively impacts the mustahiq economy by providing business capital and training, enabling them to independently raise dairy goats and generate income. This program is expected to improve mustahiq’s standard of living, the quality of education for their children, and enhance community gratitude and social awareness. However, challenges such as inadequate mentoring and training, and limited knowledge and skills of mustahiq in goat breeding were identified. The research recommends that Baitul Maal Foundation PLN enhance support and training for mustahiq and increase their knowledge and skills in dairy goat breeding.
