Abstract

Music education as a part of the educational field of Art and Culture allows teachers to apply in the educational process a variety of activities that stimulate pupils to creativity. The integration of creative approaches opens up possibilities for effective interpretation of less interesting themes. The aim of this paper is to highlight the potential or benefits of Gregorian chant in several aspects, and to suggest concrete examples and methods of how to bring this topic closer to pupils in music education classes through creative processes.
