Abstract

The present article develops an ethnographic research on the migration process in the frontier of Brazil and French Guyana, focusing the social relationships in the city of Oiapoque. This city means a reference for Brazilian workers in search of opportunities and at the same time, it is important in the international relationships of the frontier above quoted. There are commercial business between Brazilians and the Frenchs beyond the cooperation actions promoted by Brazilian and French governments.Key words: Frontier, migration, international relationships, interchange.
