The article continues the series of publications devoted to the academicians-economists of the Russian Academy of Sciences, who actively worked with the Free Economic Society of Russia. Talking about life milestones and stages of scientific activity of academician A.I. Anchishkin, the article emphasizes Anishchenko style of scientific and theoretical work. The article reveals the contribution of Academician A.I. Anchishkin to the theory and practice of national economic forecasting, strategic planning of socio-economic development of the country, optimal structuring of reproduction processes of the unified national economic complex. The article emphasizes the actual relevance of the scientific and theoretical heritage of Academician A.I. Anchishkin in today's practice of managing large national projects and programs implemented in the socio-economic life of the Russian Federation.
