Abstract
This paper analyzed the contents of Vocabulary Education in North Korea by analyzing the Korean language curriculum in elementary school, elementary junior high school and junior high school in North Korea. And it emphasizes understanding and use of words, suggests various ways of understanding meaning, improve of quantitative ability, emphasizes understanding of Sino-Korean words without Chinese characters translation, the use of appropriate vocabulary for the content of the text, the use of native words, present of lexical field. Among them, awareness of Chinese character education, awareness of Chinese character use, provide a list of learning vocabulary, repetition of content elements, method of hierachization will be an issue during the development of integrated curriculum South and North Korea.
