HONSINGER USN The Author an Engineering Duty Officer in the United States Navy, graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1956, and served nearly three years in USS LAFFEY (DD 724). Subsequently, after three years of post graduate instruction at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he received the degree of Master of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and the degree of Naval Engineer. Following a tour of duty in USS SEADRAGON (SSN 584), he reported to Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, where he presently is Assistant Planning and Estimating Superintendent (Submarines). LCDR.
